HP Connected EmailOptimizer EMO can be configured starting with version 8.5 to store the constituent files that pertain to a backed-up mail file to a different folder than the default folder.
To change the folder that EMO uses to store and process mail files, create a new string key named Mail in the appropriate Windows registry key for the Agent computer :
- Windows 32-bit
The content of the new key is the new location, for example: D:\EMO.
If you uninstall an Agent that uses this Windows registry key, you must remove the HP Connected EmailOptimizer files manually from the specified folder.
If you change this Windows registry key for an Agent that has previously backed up files using EMO, the Agent leaves any previous constituent files in the default local folder.
You must remove the HP Connected EmailOptimizer constituent files manually from the default local folder.
This is also documented in the Administering PC Agents manual named “CB-86-Agent-PC-Admin” (and following)
