If you have a SonicWall® Appliance, or any other brand security appliance device, you must increase the default configuration parameter “TCP/IP Inactivity Time Out” Setting from the default of 5 minutes to a setting of 45 to 60 minutes, minimum. Ensure that these configuration changes will persist through a restart of the device. You might need to customize other settings on these appliance units to ensure that the LiveVault service has the maximum connection ability and throughput.
General Firewall Exceptions
For Connected Backup to work correctly, outbound connectivity on TCP Ports 80,443,16384 should be allowed from the PC with the Connected Backup agent installed to the following IP address ranges:
22.214.171.124/24, 126.96.36.199/24, 188.8.131.52/27, 184.108.40.206/29 & 220.127.116.11/28
