Problem
The task has finished successfully, but: a previous orphaned Backup Snapshot has been detected. Please check with "Snapshot Manager" and delete it manually if needed.
Cause
When VMExplorer performs a backup, it first takes a snapshot of the Virtual Machine, then VMExplorer backups all the needed files and finally it removes the snapshot previously taken.
It could happen that VMExplorer is not able to remove the snapshot at the end of the backup (for example if there is a network failure, or if the VMExplorer machine is turned off during a backup).
Fix
The orphaned snapshots can be deleted like this:
1.Start VMExplorer
2.Right-click on the Virtual Machine which has the orphaned snapshots
3.Select "Manage snapshots..."
4.Manually delete all the snapshots labeled as: "Backup snapshot ########", "Replication snapshot ########" or "Memory snapshot ########"
Those are the snapshot taken by VMExplorer and should be safe to remove them.
